Rosewater Macarons

Rosewater Macarons

I haven't tried macarons in a really long time and I feel guilty posting pictures of them on this blog, without being positive I can still whip up a batch.

So I patiently sifted my icing sugar and almond flour (which I don't always do) and viola! Macarons filled with a rosewater buttercream.

White Vanilla Chai Cake

White Vanilla Chai Cake

Few, it's been a very long time since I've posted. I've been updating more frequently on the Baby Powder Baking Facebook page which can be found here

On to the new a good stuff.

I spend a couple hours before baking the cake making sugar paste flowers. It was a long two days but I finally finished and am proud of my results. I'm almost there. Just a couple more cakes.

Matcha, Green Tea Cheesecake

Green Tea cheesecake.

This cake is super light, super creamy and has a marshmallow like texture.

I would love to try this again with maybe more layers.

Green Tea Cheescake

 Green Tea Cheesecake

I drew this picture some time ago, and since then I've decided to change the shape from one round cake to small individual squares. I only have about 15 items left to make in my baking experiments. Soon I'm going to re-arrange my menu and start my cake portfolio.

Earl Grey Chocolate Mousse Cake

The mousse is made with cream of earl grey tea. with a middle layer of white chocolate cream and cashews.

A dark chocolate brownie on the bottom.

This cake is very creamy and extremely decadent, and tastes sort of like a latte.

The whole cake is finished  off with dark chocolate medallions and white chocolate flowers.
